HUDSON OPERA THEATRE Jasper Francis Cropsey: “Autumn on Greenwood Lake”
Messiah
HANDEL (the complete oratorio)

Messiah’s dazzling solos, instrumental fireworks, and glorious choral writing have made it the quintessential holiday tradition. Alas, local audiences are generally only treated to the “Christmas portion” of this monumental work, and sometimes to bits and pieces of the rest. Come experience the beauty and joy of this masterpiece as Music Director Ron De Fesi conducts the soloists, Chorus and Orchestra of Hudson Opera Theatre in a rare complete performance of Handel’s sweeping, milestone work. As always, wine, hors d’œuvres, desserts, coffee and tea round out the evening!
