Charlotte Detrick, soprano


Charlotte Detrick (Rosalinda) sang as an Associate Chorister in over fifteen different productions with the New York City Opera, with whom she also toured Japan and appeared in an Emmy award-winning “Live from Lincoln Center” telecast of Madama Butterfly. Recent solo credits include Marguerite in Faust (Hudson Opera Theatre) the title role in Countess Maritza, Nedda in Pagliacci, Nadina in The Chocolate Soldier, Clorinde in La Cenerentola on tour in Florida and at the Belleayre Festival, and Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore at the NJPAC. Upcoming: Regina in Paul Hindemith's Mathis Der Mahler with Garden State Opera. Charlotte lives in NYC with her husband and son, both composers. Son Zachary recently had a piece premiered by the New York Philharmonic.
